* Visualization and interaction.

In a more transversal fashion, the research efforts also consider more general problems such as the definition and implementation of a modeling platform or in the following application fields: medical imaging, geological modeling, physical phenomena's simulation and Computer Aided Design (CAD).

The underlying central problem of this theme is geometric modeling which is approached from different point of views. This theme therefore splits in three complementary operations :

* Geometric and topological modeling,

* Solving of geometric constraints,

* Specifications and proofs in geometry.

This theme splits in two complementary operations :

* Visualization and rendering,

* 3D Interaction.
