The research group "Informatique Géométrique et Graphique" (IGG) - meaning Computer Graphics and Geometry - is structured around two main topics :

In a more transversal fashion, the research efforts also consider more general problems such as the definition and implementation of a modeling platform or in the following application fields: medical imaging, geological modeling, physical phenomena's simulation and Computer Aided Design (CAD).

The underlying central problem of this theme is geometric modeling which is approached from different point of views. This theme therefore splits into three complementary operations :
