Joint French-Japanese project within the CNRS/JST ICT understanding in virtual reality ("Improving the VR Experience"), headed by Dominique Bechmann and Caroline Essert (IGG, LSIIT), accepted for 3 years (2008-2010). Three french labs CNRS and INRIA and six japanese labs are concerned from which Michitika Hirose (Tokyo University) and Makato Sato (Tokyo Institute of Technology). Overall budget : 90k€.

Project MERLION French Embassy in Singapour and A-STAR (representation, visualization and navigation of vascular in VR environments based on Ball B-spline curves) headed by Dominique Bechmann and Sylvain Brandel (IGG, LSIIT) in partnership with Seah Hock Soon at Nanyang Technological University of Singapour from July 2006 for 2 years. IGG's budget : about 15k€.
