Non manifold models
Volumes de subdivision
Nous avons étendu les cartes multirésolution à la dimension 3 pour un encodage efficace des volumes de subdivision. Ce modèle est muni de nouveaux opérateurs topologiques multi-échelles. Il supporte tous les types de maillages connus (tétraédriques, hexaédriques ou polyédriques) et une large gamme de schémas de subdivisions. C'est le seul modèle multirésolution volumique supportant des subdivisions adaptatives.
Bientôt des résultats sur l'analyse multirésolution de données volumiques et l'édition multirésolution de maillages volumiques.
Simulation de foules
Un système multirésolution pour la recherche de proximité dans des scènes complexes. Application à la simulation dynamique de foules d'agents autonomes.

Détection de collisions
A forecast mechanism for real time tracking of particles trajectories. This work is applied to collision detection between deformable solids in complex environments.

A compact and efficient combinatorial model for the encoding of multiresolution surfaces. This work is applied to subdivision surfaces and progessive meshes.
This model is now extended to support subdivision volumes.
